Acton Food Pantry 

Distribute Wednesdays from 10-7 and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30. To donate or volunteer or if you need services, call 978-635-9295.

Open Table - Register for services from the website or call 978-369-2275. - Register to volunteer (easy to do): Click on Sign Up Here link.

Multiple volunteer opportunities, including maintenance of broken things in Concord & Maynard facilities, pick & pack food for the pantry, and distribute food.

Open Table Fresh Air Pantry by appointment on Tuesdays (ages over 55: 12:45-3 / other: 3-6:30) & Thursdays from 3-6:30 PM @ Maynard Municipal Parking lot (Main Street by the Fine Arts Theater).  Check the website or call:

Make Face Shields

Massachusetts Face Shields is a volunteer organization providing face shields for front line staff at hospitals, medical centers, and doctor's offices. They need people to help with 3D printing and assembling face shields. They also need supplies and donations.


Provide Meals to Front-Line Personnel

Blackbird Café in Acton has connected with Emerson Hospital and local police and fire departments to prepare and deliver meals to them. Currently they make two deliveries per week of sixty meals each to Emerson, and will increase the number based on donations: Click on Meals for Frontline Workers. A box that says “ORDER FOR PICKUP” comes up.  Leave the “order now, ready in 15-20 min.” circle filled.  (Although confusing, leave it.) Click on that box and you will see a display of choices of how many meals you want to donate.  Choose what you want and check out.

Time to use up that extra yarn! In honor of Earth Day, Sudbury Valley Trustees is seeking knitted or crocheted flowers of any color, size, or design for the Arlington Park in Framingham. Donations accepted throughout May. For more information:
